What Causes Blood In Eye After A Cataract Surgery?
This is probably subconjunctival hemorrhage.

Hello
Welcome to Health care magic
I am Dr. DADAPEER K, an Ophthalmologist and I answer health problems related to eye.
I reviewed the history and it seems from the history that you have underwent cataract surgery on 5/6/14 and following it you are having dark red blood in the white part of the eye.
This indicates subconjunctival hemorrhage which is because of collection of blood under the conjunctiva. This is a common condition and it occurs because of minor trauma to the blood vessels during surgery because of handling of the eye tissues during surgery.
This will decrease over 1-3 weeks slowly as the blood gets absorbed, hence no need to worry. Do continue the eye drops as advised by your doctor and no need to worry about subconjunctival hemorrhage as it will resolve by itself.
If possible do send a photo of the affected eye so that I can confirm the diagnosis for you.
Hope I have answered your question and the information is helpful to you.
Thank you

Distorted vision is because of cylindrical lens.

Hello
Welcome to Health care magic
Thank you for the follow up question.
It seems from the history that you are having distorted vision with glasses. This indicates that you are prescribed cylindrical lenses for correction of astigmatism.
The reader portion is meant for near vision and for near vision you have to look through the reader portion and to avoid this problem you have to go for progressive lenses. The progressive lenses correct for intermediate distances also unlike the conventional bifocal lenses which only correct for distance and near vision.
Hence I advice you to go for progressive lenses and to get the prescription checked before ordering the final glasses.
Hope I have answered your question and the information is helpful to you.
