Brief Answer:
Ultrasound of scrotum

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX
U do not need to worry.
This black and blue ares in your testicles are very common after a hernia operation
I suggest u lie flat on your back with legs up with pillows and ice the area.U will see the black and blue area will go away.
But if u are having pain in the area then i suggest u do ultrasound of scrotum.
The ultrasound can show any masses or abnormalities on the testicles.
Hope I have answered your query. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help.

Regards
DR De
