What Causes All Over Body Pain?

default
Posted on Thu, 5 Mar 2015
Question: I have mild to moderate joint/muscle aches all over my body!! Sometimes I feel it may be both!! It goes from one area to the next. It has lasted a=for about 2 weeks. Initially I thought it may be a virus but it has lasted this long and has not gone away!! air is even in my fingers. I would say mainly joints but It is also in some of my muscles!! It is very annoying and persistent!! I just had routine blood test done yesterday but my Dr, does not know about this so I am sure did not test for this specifically. I did go off all of my new vitamins that I started a month ago just to see if that was the culprit and I am still achey all over. What are your thought!! Elbows are the worse.

Brief Answer:
You may be having vitamin D3 deficiency.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for choosing healthcaremagic for posting your query

I'm Dr. Sudhir Kumar,

I have gone through your question in detail and understand your concern.
You are likely to be having vitamin D3 deficiency as it can cause such pains. You can take analgesic such as ibuprofen for pain relief. You can get your vitamin D3 levels and if found low you can take vitamin D3 supplements.
Second possibility is non specific joint and muscular pain. Treatment of it is rest, analgesic, multivitamins and calcium supplements.

You can discuss with your treating Doctor about it.

Hope I have answered your query.
If you have any further query, I would be glad to help you.
