Question: Hello doctors
My father is a patient of livercerosis.He is on medication for quite sometime now.
Two days back he experienced severe stomach ache followed by loose motions and high fever.As he can't take heavy medicines please suggest some safe remedies that can help him get better.Also..we have given him crocin for fever but his fever gets back after some hours. Kindly give your suggestions

I can certainly understand your concerns.

Your father possibly seem to have acute infectious diarrhea.

These infections are common in liver cirrhosis.

I generally recommend my patients oral tablets or ORNI O for 3 days.These antibiotics are relatively tolerated in liver dysfunction .

Please check with your physician if he shares my view and if can prescribe them to you.
