What Causes Abdominal Pain With Diarrhea?
Question: I have been having stomach (left side elbow level) spasms, as well as loose stool (solid but rough edge looking) and my rectum area is slightly uncomfortable at times and in can feel spasms in that area as well as pressure or...weird feeilings at the tip of my penis when the pressure in my rectum occurs. Could this be bad or maybe just an infection?

Hello. Thanks for putting your query in hcm. Abdominal pain with loose stool do suggest gastrointestinal infection.preasure in the rectum may be due to predominant involvement of rectum in infection. However weird feeling on the penis could not be explained. I hope there ia no lesion on the penis. For this take a course of probiotics, antibiotic like rifaximin which has no systemic absorption and acts only Iin intestine. Take plenty of fluid and electrol powder to prevent insufficiency of fluids and electrolytes. Meanwhile get your stool examination and complete haemogram to see for any specific infection and antibiotics accordingly. I hope I have answered your query and this will help you.
