Brief Answer:
I need to know why you suspect this to be related to the prostate?

Detailed Answer:
Hello sir and welcome.

Thank you for writing to us.

I have gone through your query with diligence and would like you to know that I am here to help. I do understand that your age does support the diagnosis of a possible prostate abnormality, but I need to ask how exactly you are suspecting your symptoms to be related to a prostate issue?

I ask because, even other conditions like a urinary tract infection (UTI) also present with such symptoms, and the onset is as sudden as you have described (i.e. 20 hours ago). Let me go ahead and list a few other symptoms of a UTI so you can better relate to it or not:

+Frequent urination
+Strong urge to pass urine, but very little urine being passed
+Burning sensation while passing urine
+Itching or discomfort around the genital region (not always)
+Lower abdominal or lower back pain (not always)
+Fever (not always)
+Chills (not always)
and a few others.

Whereas symptoms of a prostate abnormality are:

+Poor stream of urine
+Dribbling of urine (usually falls of feet)
+Waking up at night several times to urinate
+Urgent need to pass urine
+Feeling of incomplete emptying of the bladder even after just passing urine
+Takes time to start the flow of urine
+Straining while trying to pass urine

Please write back to me so I can better understand and guide you towards management.

Best wishes.
