What Causes A Lump Inside The Mouth While On Sucralfate?
Question: Feeling a lump inside my mouth (on top towards the back.) Not painful or itchy, but just became aware of it. Can'be be sure of size, but when I run my tongue over it, could be 1/2" to 1" in diameter. Do have a dry mouth at night that becomes painful at times. Unfortunately, it's not possible to take a picture of it given the location inside my mouth. What medical practitioner should I see regarding this issue?
Brief Answer:
Start with your primary care doctor!
Detailed Answer:
HI,
Your primary healthcare doctor should be a good person to start with. I will suggest that you start with him/her and if they are unable to satisfactorily address it, then they would recommend you see an ENT specialist.
I wish you well.
