Brief Answer:
could be your heart

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thank you for your question.
It is very important for you to see a doctor as soon as possible and have a check up for heart disease. The kind of pain you describe that feels like chest pressure and lasts about 5 minutes could be angina, which is from the heart not getting enough blood flow due to blockages. Risks for heart disease of this type include age over 50, being male, smoking, hypertension, high cholesterol, diabetes and having family members with heart disease. The fact that it is occurring while you sleep is even more concerning so please see a doctor as soon as possible. If the pain comes on and does not resolve then go to emergency department immediately.
Regards,
Dr. Robinson
