What Cause Absence Of Periods When On Diane35?
Question: I am an unmarried girl of 26 yrs of age. I am having irregular period.so my doctor suggested me to take Diane 35 and I am using it for the last 1 yr.after taking it my period was regular .But on this month after taking Diane 35 still my period is nt happening. I am bit worried .is there sign of any disease bcoz after taking pills also I am not getting it. Plz give some solution.

I have taken all 21 tablets of XXXXXXX 35 .It should occur between 7 days after stopping bt it has crossed 7 days still nt occured and am nt sexually active .so am Lil worried.please provide some solution

Get an ultrasound scan done to check thickness of lining of uterus.

Okay.
SO you are overweight, and need to work on losing atleast 5 kg of weight.
Start with regular exercise and a diet plan by a Dietician.
Now, please have a thorough evaluation for the reason for irregular periods.
You need internal exam by a gynec, pelvic ultrasound scan on day 2 of your period and all hormonal tests - FSH, LH, TSH, Prolactin, OGTT, DHEAS, Free testosterone , Lipid profile.
MOst probably you would be having hormonal disturbance ( possibly polycystic ovarian syndrome - PCOS ) that leads to irregular periods and weight gain.
Apart from OC pills such as Diane 35, you would need other drugs like Metformin to regulate your periods.
Weight loss will also help tremendously.
Right now, please consult an OB - GYN, and go for a pelvic ultrasound scan.
If the lining of the uterus is thin, you will need 5 - 7 days of progesterone tablets to thicken the lining, and then when you stop them, you will have withdrawal bleeding.
