Question: I would like to know how I should be feeling after having a Stem Cell Transplant last April?? I am starting to feel, how I felt before the transplant.... Thank you

Regarding symptoms one year after transplant it really depends on a number of factors. I would expect that you haven't seen your hematologist on a regular basis with regular blood counts. If you are developing some degree of anemia for some reason then your hematologist would probably want to investigate why that is the case.

Also some medications may be having side effects that may cause you to feel somewhat fatigued.

It is remotely possible that the disease could relapse after transplant but again this is something that has to be assessed by your transplant physician. If you're not feeling well and this seems to be persistent or progressive I would recommend that you make an appointment to follow up with your doctor soon as possible for a comprehensive physical examination and laboratory evaluation.
