The most common symptoms of Vit D deficiency are generalized weakness, easy fatigues, bone pains and trivial injury fractures.

Here is how you should go about it if you do not want supplements. However I recommend you to take the supplements and then go on lifestyle changes for the correction.


1. Exposure to the sun for 20 min a day, avoid afternoon sun
2. Avoid applying sun screen lotion over your hands and legs
3. Cod liver oil, tofu, butter and dairy products are rich in vitamin d. Cereals are also rich in Vitamin d. Make sure to add dairy products into your diet.
