Brief Answer:
Side effects are still possible.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thanks for posting your query.

Since this medication is meant to abort an intrauterine pregnancy, contraction of the uterus can happen with the initial dose, once vascularity is suspended.

Also, this drug is teratogenic, i.e., has unwanted effects on the embryo and hence, one should go for it only after a decision is done to terminate a proven intrauterine pregnancy.

In the current scenario, please contact a specialist immediately for further help. If you have not had a proper confirmation of the pregnancy earlier, please go for it first with a blood test for pregnancy and a trans-vaginal sonogram. If you are not pregnant, then no harm done. If you are pregnant, you should consider the future of this pregnancy immediately.

Hope I have answered your query. Please feel free to contact for further information. I will be happy to help.

regards,
Shanti.V.
