Question: Hello sir my 2 year old daughter consumed 20 ml of EMESET by mistake kindly tell me what needs to be done .....please reply ASAP

Emeset contains Ondansetron, it is a centrally acting antiemetic (anti vomiting) medicine, that means it acts on the vomiting center in the brain.

Since it blocks 5HT3 receptors, overdosage/toxic effects will be due to blocking the action of serotonin.

No severe toxic effects have been reported, so please do not panic. But do take her to a pediatrician and get her looked at to make sure she is doing fine.
