Brief Answer:
See an ENT (ear, nose, throat) doctor

Detailed Answer:
Hi there,

C. Diff is a significant infection that is associated with antibiotic use, hospitalization, and increasing age. Severity of infection can range from diarrhea to inflammation of the colon, perforation, and death. It is associated with several different antibiotics. Unfortunately, it sounds like you have an infection that needs antibiotics. I would recommend stopping all anti-acids because they are associated with increased infections. You can also take high dose probiotics which have an inhibitory effect on C. Diff. and play a role in prevention. Also, increase fluids, and avoid constipation. Wash your hands regularly.

The other alternative would be to stop antibiotics. Sinusitis is almost always caused by virus, about 98% of the time. You should also see an ear, nose, throat doctor because a lot of the time people with chronic sinusitis can be caused by obstruction of the sinus, and therefore, secretions are not cleared which become hospitable to bacterial growth. Bacterial growth can cause more inflammation and worsening obstruction. Some people can also get polyps in their nasal canal which blocks secretions. Both of which can be fixed by an ear, nose, and throat doctor.

I would recommend to avoid tobacco smoke, avoid alcohol, control your asthma/allergy with medications OTC such as Benadryl or zyrtec, update vaccinations, wash your hands, use a neti pot, tylenol for fevers and pain, double your fluid intake, humidifier, sleep with more pillows. You may also need steroids to help with the inflammation. You may also want to get tested for cystic fibrosis and other genetic disease which are associated with recurrent sinusitis.
