default
Posted on Thu, 25 Sep 2014
Question: Hello, I am a 51 year old male, I received oral sex nine days ago. Later the following day I had a bad headache which is rare for me. Three days ago a single acne like spot appeared at the top of my pubic area which was relieved when I popped it and puss and a little blood came out. It is healing leaving a reddish rash. I have a little dicharge in the mornings which is yellowy White and has no odour.
I'm reading everything on the Internet and wondering about herpes. It might be me but I have felt an ache in my shoulder and neck all day today,

Thank you

Brief Answer:
hi and welcome to hcm

Detailed Answer:
This can be herpes but any other std as well so std test is definitely necessary. Herpes typically occur 1-2 weeks after exposure,it goes with blisters which may be filled with pus but more common this is clear fluid. This can be some other viral infection such as molluscum or hpv. Or bacterial one. also, you may have foliculitis which doesnt need to be related with intercourse. All this will be cleared out with std testing and you should do it asap so that treatment can be started if necessary.wish you good health.
