What Are The Chances Of Cyst In Ovaries Being Cancerous?

default
Posted on Mon, 4 May 2015
Question: I had a 6cm cyst removed from one of my ovary is 2001.. After lab tested and it came back borderline cancer. I wasn't put on meds or treatment just ultrasound and CA125 blood test every 6-12 months. Now in 2015, the ultrasound revealed a 2.68 irregular shape cyst on my ovary. For precaution, my gyne scheduled me to consult a oncologist..does this mean the cyst may be cancerous? I just turned 36.
Thanks
