Suggest Ways To Wean Off Vicodin, Adderall And Xanax

Question: I broke three ribs and punctured my heart and got hooked on like it in for thelast five years then about six months ago I started taking some Adderall for no reason just to get some more work done I guess I've always taken something to sleepsince my mom since my mom shot her she didn't because she tried to get five years on dialysis. So I started taking Xanax then that's been 15 years 1 to 2 day today usually just at bedtime. But the Viking and I've been taken five or six years often on for the last three years on I don't drink or smoke but I'm taking 20 750 like itand in the last six months I've got up to for Adderall's day 20 mg, and I want to quit at home what's your adviceI forgot I want to do this at home sorry

You describe addiction to Vicodin, Adderall, and Xanax. Let me talk about each of these.

Addictions to more than one substance requires close monitoring by a psychiatrist. It cannot be done at home without a doctor aware of your situation and able to respond to an emergency.

Adderall withdrawal can cause irritability and insomnia. I would decrease by 25% every two weeks.

Vicodin withdrawal can cause vomiting, diarrhea, sweating, and shaking. I would decrease by 25% every two weeks.

Xanax withdrawal can be deadly. You can experience high blood pressure, brain bleeding, seizure, and death. This will probably need to be done on an inpatient basis.
