Question: Hello,

My wife is 44 days pregnant,we are planning to get it abort.Shall we go for medicinal abortion or we shall go for DNC .Along with it we have to leave out of station on 7th XXXXXXX and will return back by 13th XXXXXXX 16 so is it possible to conduct the abortion after 51 days.
And if yes what shall be be the things that should be taken care of

Is abortion by pills will work if no of days goes to 50 or shall we go for DNC after 50 days.What medication shall we take with us for mild pain that is going on right now ,along with it can we take any medication for prevailing fatigue that is occuring right now in body.

Medical abortion is preferred up to 42 days, however can be done till 63 days of pregnancy.
It is a cocombined decision of the doctor and patient to decide the mode of termination.
For mild pain and fatigue, which are the common symptoms of early pregnancy, there are no medications available.
She should avoid exertion and take rest.

Thanks Dr.for you advice.Actually she had gone for a D&C yesterevening.She has very much pain in her tummy and lower right abdomin.So Is this symtoms normal.Secondly can we go for some physiotherapy to get relief from this pain soon.
