Question: Good evening Dr HEIJEBU.I have a very distinctive Query to you.My bother has been behaving abnormally since quite a sometime.I came to know about it quite recently only.But in reality, he is having issues since quite a sometimeas by the info gathered from my neighbours.I stay in a different town from my brother.My brother since 3 years has been spending long hours in the bathroom locking himself.When asked he says he is cleaning the buckets and hands and wants to prevent flies from falling on water pipes.He spends about 4-5 hours in the bathroom daily.When confronted he becomes aloof.All the family members are distressed by his behaviour.Please suggest a solution.

I generally prescribe oral pills of Escitalopram10 mg and Olanzapine5 mg one pill each twice a day.
