Hi Doctor, Thanks for your reply. I have been using regestrone to get the periods, for nearly one year. What used to happen was I took medicines for around 3-4 months, and then in 5th month periods used to occur naturally. Before that I used to get periods without any medicine in duration of 45 days or so. I had 3 tablets regestrone starting from 20th of nov, and got my periods on 29th. after that I did not use any pills as I am planning to conceive. Neither I nor my husband under went any of test, so I do not have any reports to be attached. My weight is nearly 65 kgs, and my height is 5'2'' inches. Do I have chances to conceive naturally? What will you suggest me now?

Brief Answer:
You have chances to conceive naturally

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for information.

You need some basic tests and follow advise I have mentioned below as you are 29 years and have PCOS.

1) Please get semen analysis of your husband.

2) Get HSG ( hysterosalpingogram) for yourself to know if tubes are open.

3) You need to get regular follicular growth scan done to know growth of follicles. When follicles reaches 18 mm ( since this is delayed in PCOS), you have to start trying.

4) You have to lose weight of about 10 kg by regular exercise and diet. Losing weight will regularize your cycles and also increase chances of pregnancy 2 to 3 times.
5) You have good chances of conception. Please follow above advise.

Brief Answer:
Wait

Detailed Answer:
Hi

I suggest you to wait. If you are having a delayed implantation, you might be pregnant. Hence I suggest wait without medicines for periods to occur naturally.

Brief Answer:
Delayed implantation explained

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

If ovulation is delayed, it leads to delayed fertilization and implantation. If normal ovulating woman ovulates on 14th day , you might ovulate after 20th day. This leads to delay in periods and possible pregnancy chances. Hence if the ovulation has occurred late, pregnancy might occur late.

If your ovulation and fertilization are delayed, there is possibility of delayed implantation and hence delayed positive in pregnancy test
