Question: Hi Doctor,

I want your expert opinion. Me and my girlfriend (our marriage is fixed) had sex and accidentally I came into her vagina. I couldn't pull out my penis at the right time. Her last period was on March 28th. We had sex on April 20th. And also, we were on the sitting position. Doctor, Is there any possibility of getting pregnant. If there is any possibility, please help us to avoid that madam.

Brief Answer:
Very rare chance of pregnancy

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Unprotected intercourse on day 23 of the menstrual cycle has extremely low chance of pregnancy.
However, a little chance is still there.
Pregnancy, if it has occurred, can't be avoided now as 72 hours have elapsed post intercourse in which the emergency contraceptive pills can be taken.
She should wait for the periods, if delayed, then get a urine pregnancy test done.
If the test is positive, then she can terminate the pregnancy by medical method under the supervision of a registered medical practitioner.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
