Brief Answer:
It all can be due to upper respiratory tract infection

Detailed Answer:
Hi! Welcome to health care magic!

Based on the history you have shared, these all symptoms can be simply due to inflamed tonsils or other upper respiratory tract infections which can lead to fever and feeling of vertigo. Vomiting can be part of inflamed tonsils or pharynx and when food touches their it provokes vomiting. However get him examined by a doctor in detail and get relevant blood screens done with complete blood picture, blood and throat cultures and if needed Xrays of Paranasal sinuses. He may needs to be started with antibiotics like augmentin or azithromycin, alongwith anti histamines like cetrizine or loratidine. For vomiting domperidone or diphenhydramine cam be given after discussing with your GP and use soft diets, hot beverages like soups, use saline water gargles and steam inhalations. For fever analgesics like acetaminophen may be needed repeatedly until infection subsides completely. Wishing you a speedy recovery. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask. Regards.
