Brief Answer:
This requires treatment for underlying cause, uveitis.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Welcome to Health care magic

I am Dr. DADAPEER K, an Ophthalmologist and I will be answering your question.

I reviewed your history.

It seems from the history that you are having floaters in the eye with past history of herpes zoster treatment, cataract surgery and uveitis.

Floaters are because of degenrations in the vitreous. Vitreous is a gel like structure which lies behind the lens. It usually gets liquified resulting in floaters and the common causes for this are inflammations of the eye like uvieits, injury, surgery, ageing....
In your case since you are having uveitis this may be the cause for floaters.

Floaters are usually benign condition and does not require treatment and will decrease slowly. But in your case since there is underlying cause treatment for uveitis is required.
With the treatment for uveitis, the floaters will decrease.

Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for evaluation and treatment of uveitis.

Hope I have answered your question and the information is helpful to you.

It looks my eyesight is getting low in right. Is it because of these flashes?

Brief Answer:
Valcivir can be continued for long time.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thank you for the follow up question.

Valcivir is required for long time in treatment of herpes zoster. This will not cause any problem no need to be worried.

Floaters in right eye require evaluation by indirect ophthalmoscopy by a ophthalmologist. The usual causes for floaters are degenerations of the vitreous, ageing... as I mentioned in my previous answer.
These floaters are usually benign things and will not cause any problem. Since you are having diminution in vision we need to rule out other causes like cataract or posterior segment problems by examination.

Hence I advice you to consult your ophthalmologist for evaluation of right eye also once.

Hope I have answered your question and the information is helpful to you.

Thanks again.
Just need to confirm if my condition in right eye is actually floater?
I see no. Of small flashes like when stone thrown on water. It makes mesh of flashes which are increased when eye is used for long hours before computer and reduces a bit on rest.
If tear fresh is enough for this.
2.
Do u recommend any drop for uveitis?

Brief Answer:
You can use tear fresh eye drops.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thank you for the follow up question.

From the description you have given it appears like floater only.
You can use tear fresh eye drops for symptomatic relief as you are using computer for long hours.

Uveitis requires treatment by steroid eye drops and steroid drugs.
But these need to be used under supervision of your doctor.

Hope I have answered your question and the information is helpful to you.
