Suggest Treatment For Symptoms Of Vitamin B12 Deficiency

default
Posted on Fri, 8 Jul 2016
Question: I think from my symptoms that I have a cold - coughing, mucous from nose and throat - but my mucus is yellow/green and I have a coating on my tongue my ribs on my right side are very sore and I have no energy. I understand a cold usually takes about ten days and I am on my 5th with three days in bed and today looks about the same but I don't seem to have a fever today. I haven't bothered with a doctor because except for the coated tongue all my symptoms fit a cold virus but my family is urging me to go. I am in fairly good shape immune wise but I have no appetite. I have held them until Monday but would like you opinion.
Thank you so much. XXXXXXX XXXX

Not usually. If I eat a salad with balsamic vinegar my tongue will bother me after. Maybe tomatoes but not every time.
It doesn't bother my stomach though.

No. But I haven't noticed the redness lately, just the coating. Is there something that causes an inflamed tongue? With this cold I haven't been eating much. Drinking water, nettle tea, sauerkraut juice, chicken soup.
