Suggest Treatment For Swollen Feet And Discoloration Of Skin
Question: yes my husband 50 yrs 5 7 135lbs never any health issues for the last week has had a foot that looks just like a heavy persons leg & foot that has diabetes (I know I didn't spell that right ) swollen but miscolored around top of foot and ankle area extreme pain if touch in certain spots cant find a bite wound has trouble walking numbness just looks like a big fat mess

I have studied your case. Sudden onset of foot swelling with pain and tenderness is mostly due to infection. It is called cellulitis. Other common causes can be edema due to high blood pressure. I would recommend you following.
1. Get blood tests like ESR, CRP so that we can find out if there is any infection.
2.you need to check your blood sugar and blood pressure. If any thing is abnormal then it can cause swelling.
You should discuss with your physician as your husband might need to take antibiotics . compression bandage is also helpful.
