Question: I have a swollen place on my neck on the left side of my esophagus. When i tilt my head back it protrudes out.

It seems like a salivary gland diverticulum. You should do an ultrasound examinations.

Hi back
To my opinion you need to use NSAID 's drugs such as ibuprofen or Voltaren.
They will help to reduce inflammation and pain.
If the symptoms continue more than a couple of days than you need to do ultrasound of neck glandular.
