Brief Answer:
Try to maintain a regular bowel schedule

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

if I understood well then potential involuntary gas release is your main problem. The only thing that I can think of, that may help you is maintain a regular defecation schedule. Regular emptying of rectal contents helps reduce both gas volume and gas smell.
Altering your diet may help as well. Avoid carbonated refreshments for example, too much fiber and take your time when eating (eat slowly).
I hope you find my advice helpful!

Kind Regards!

I make sure I have regular bowel movements and I have changed my diet before but nothing seems to change and the annoying thing is when people have asked about the smell I can't smell it is there nothing I can take?

Brief Answer:
Has this ever happened in other places?

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
has this "incident" happened under different circumstances? That is in a different place, with different people?
If you can't smell it, then have you considered the possibility of being the victim of a very silly prank?

The one other thing you can do to avoid issues is control your diet a bit. Try and avoid spicy foods and if you are not able to digest dairy, try and cut it out.

Medically, I can't add any further advice to my first answer.

Kind Regards!

yes its happened more than one place with more than one person saying it and I have smelt it before because sometimes I feel like I need to go to the toilet and nothing comes out and have smelt like I've just done a bowel movement but haven't. the reason I think my rectom is swollen and the best way I can describe it is I can always feel it

Brief Answer:
Consulting a gastroenterologist would probably help

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Although I believe that the heart of your problems is anxiety, I think that you should consult a gastroenterologist and perhaps undergo an endoscopy which will highlight any anatomic or other abnormalities. I don't believe anything would come out of this, but it will hopefully help you to find answers and relax.

Kind Regards!
