Brief Answer:
Ice blocks, Advil, watching, if persistence, see Dr for X ray

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for the query,

If the swelling and pain, though present, have been decreasing over time, it is a good sign. If all these have been stable, or aggravating, it is concerning.

You could for now apply some ice blocks to the painful area and take some Advil (over the counter anti inflammatory drug) for a couple of days. This should help in case there is no underlying serious issue.

If with these measures pain and swelling persists, you might need to exclude an underlying fracture by doing a skull x ray. It is however too early to worry for now, especially of the shock was not intense.

For the moment, ice blocks and Advil should be helpful. Watch symptoms, if persistence or aggravation, see Dr for evaluation and a probable X ray.

Kind regards as I wish you the best of health. Please, do not hesitate asking further specific questions in case of need.
