Question: So I am allergic to normet. But have loose motions with stomach cramps and fever. What can be the alternate medicine instead of normet that I can take

Normet contains two components , ofloxacin and ornidazole. Now you are either allergic to either oflox or ornidazole or both . Has it been checked by your doctor whether you are allergic to both or any one of them?
Now coming to your question , you may not need antibiotic is loose motions are of less than 3 days duration as most of the time its due to viral infection and it doesn't need antibiotic.
But if loose motions are of more than 3 days then you need to get a course of antibiotic. In that case you can get a test called stool culture sensitivity test , this test helps in checking which is the right antibiotic for your infection.
Kindly get the test done and revert back with report.

till then what medicine should be taken to stop loose motions. is Rifagut 400 mg advisable?

You can take Racedrotil capsule 2-3 times a day along with Sporolac 3 times a day. Kindly get the prescription from your doctor.
Rifagut is an antibiotic and I don't recommend antibiotic without a culture report.
