Brief Answer:
May be due to a heart, or a blood problem. Please Consult a Cardiologist.

Detailed Answer:
Dr. Hanif warmly Welcomes you!

Thanks for consulting at my virtual clinic. I have carefully worked through your case, and can realize your health worries. Being your physician, I will take care all of your medical concerns.

The symptoms you described are typical of showing there is some problem with proper oxygen supply to the body by the heart. It has many reasons:

On top, when I look whole case regarding you, is the heart problem. May be due to a failing heart which is unable to pump optimally. It may be due to cardiomyopathy, dilated cardiac chambers, valvular heart problems, or the problems with coronary arteries of the heart which supply blood to the muscles of the heart.

Anemia means less hemoglobin in blood and can cause shortness of blood and fast heart beats and shallow & fast breathing.

It may be due to the lungs problems where there is deficient exchange of blood gases (oxygen and carbon dioxide) and it causes the blood coming out of lungs less deoxygenated and so patient feels short of breath and symptoms like you feel.

Hypertension may cause same issues.

Pooling of blood in lungs causes same problems.

Kidneys when fail to excrete properly, it causes the hydrostatic pressure and increases fluid content in blood, and may lead to lung issues along with heart problems. This all appears as you are feeling.

How to Proceed:-
Consult your Physician and ask him to refer you to a cardiologist for prompt care. Cardiologist is trained to rule out the causes and pick up the diagnosis after careful physical examination and the diagnostic tests. EKG, CBS, ECHOCARDIOGRAPHY, ANGIOGRAPHY AFTER STRESS TEST, CHEST X-RAY, COMPLETE METABOLIC PROFILE are some of the investigations highly needed for you to get diagnosed and treatment will go accordingly.

Have a wonderful time ahead. Hope I answered all of your questions. Let me know if you have any further clinical concerns. I will be happy to get back to you shortly. If satisfied here, please give a five star rating and don't forget to close the discussion.

Regards!
