Suggest Treatment For Shivers And Exhaustion
Question: For past 20 days her body shivers at times.
She feels exhausted while walking even 100 meters distance.
For past 10 days, she feels lack of sensesation in her feets (Numbness) most of the times.
She was absolutely well prior to that.
What could be the reason for this?
Kindly advice.

First let us discuss about numbness in feet. It indicates damage to nerves supplying her feet. Most common causes are Diabetes , Alcoholism, Vitamin B12 deficiency , Long term heavy metal poisoning.
She requires a test called Nerve conduction test for confirmation of diagnosis and to know the extent of nerve damage.
Also get her tested for Diabetes , serum Vitamin B12 levels, and revert back.
Shivering and exhaustion could be due to diabetes, Thyroid problems, Heart problems, or low hemoglobin.
I advise her to do Serum TSH and Complete hemogram and 2D Echo test and revert back .

A query here, normally the diagnostic centers require a prescription before conducting any test. In that case carrying a print out of this email should suffice?
My mother resides at my native place. All the tests recommended here may not be available in the local hospital.
She will go for diabetes and other tests as mentioned. Once i have the report, i will update you.

Yes you can do these test by taking the print out . Or you can just write down the test in a paper and tell me name in diagnostic center , Preferably go to Clumax Diagnostic if your mother lives in XXXXXXX
