Posted on Mon, 27 Jun 2016
Question: I had vomited several times last night & now this morning I've got a very intense pain inside my right ear. Do you think the two could be related & what can I do to ease the ear pain? This has never happened to me before.

Brief Answer:
Yes it can be related.

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Thank you for asking HCM

I have gone through your query. Vomiting and ear pain can be related. Ear is involved in balancing. So ear infection can give nausea and vomiting. Better to get an examination by ENT specialist to rule out ear infection.
In case of infection taking antibiotics , nasal decongestant sprays like xylometazoline (otrivin) anti vertigo medications like meclizine will be helpful to get relief from this.

Let me know if anything not clear.
I am happy to help you.
Thanks.
