Brief Answer:
Better to first rule out cardiac pain.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
At your age of 76 years, we should first rule out cardiac chest pain for your symptoms.
So get done ecg, 2d echo and stress test (trade mill test).
If all these are normal then no need to worry for heart diseases.
Sometimes simple musculoskeletal pain can also cause similar symptoms.
So please let me know
1. Do you have diabetes or hypertension?
2. Do you have any heart diseases in past?
Please reply me answers of above asked questions, so that I can guide you better. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.

1. I had elevated blood pressure which has been under control using 5 mg Bisoprolol/hctt, 1 tablet /day- for over 20 years.
2. No history of heart disease.

We moved from NY to WV last January and have had trouble finding a PCP. I now have an appointment in mid Setember but am very uncomfortable. I do not know how to get ecg, 2d echo test.. done without a prescription. I would also like to have the standard blood tests done. Can you provide prescriptions? Is there a way to use the emergency room?

I have seen a local eurologist. I was diagnosed with prostate cancer 3 years ago, 2 lesions less than 1mm in diameter. He was happy with the psa level test he took, and ordered a bone scan to see whether my complaint was related to metastasis in the bone. He has informed me that I am free of bone cancer.

I also have had esophageal erosion that has been checked with endoscopies over the years. I take non-prescription amaprazole dr, 20 mg, 1/day. I have not found a local gastroenterologist yet.
Thank you, XXXXXXX Forman

Brief Answer:
Sorry to say but we can not give you prescription on this forum.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your follow up question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
Sorry to say but we can not give prescription on this forum as this is not official. We are here today guide you, suggest you but not to prescribe you anything.
So you have to meet your local doctor for prescription.
I think you can visit emergency room directly and tell them your symptoms. They will mostly do ecg first. So better to visit emergency room first.
If ecg is normal then your symptoms are mostly due to musculoskeletal pain.
So take simple painkiller like ibuprofen. Avoid movements causing pain. Avoid bad postures in sleep. Avoid heavyweight lifting and strenuous exercise. Apply warm water pad on affected areas.
Don't worry, you will be alright with all these.
Continue omeprazole once a day. No harm in it.
Hope I have solved your query.
