Question: Hello, i have severe lower back pain on right lower back with sciatica. My insurance declined paying for mri to see why i am hurting so bad. Was diagnosed in 2013 with bulging disc. Brief Answer:
The answer is No to your both questions.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thanks for using HealthcareMagic.

I have read your question and understand your concerns.

The answer to your question is straightforward no, there could not be lumps originating from intervertebral discs detectable under the skin.

Sciatic nerve also cannot be pushed or dislocated.

Please get imaging studies done in order to achieve a correct diagnosis (X-rays and MRI of your lumbosacral spine).

Hope you found the answer helpful. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care.
