default
Posted on Mon, 13 Feb 2017
Question: My husband has severe leg and foot pain. He says it's a burning throbbing stabbing pain from his knees to his toes. He does take lyrics for neuropathy, but it's is not helping anymore. He has neen checked for diabetes a few years ago but was negative. His legs also swell occasionally but not daily more so when they are really in pain. We have been to several doctors and everything checks out fine, where do we go now?

Brief Answer:
Spinal cord stimulation and Radiofrequency rhizotomy

Detailed Answer:
Hi there

Thanks for the query

It appears like the dose of Lyrica needs to be increased by his Doctor.

Other option you have is getting Spinal cord stimulation which is very effective and also Radiofrequency rhizotomy. These can be obtained from a PAIN Management clinic after discussing with his Doctor.

I hope I have answered your query.

I will be available to answer your follow up queries.
