Suggest Treatment For Severe Coughing At Night In A 4 Year Old

Question: My kid is 4 years old. When winters are close he get cough and little cold. And he keep on coughing sometimes at night. But sometimes he will not at all cough. Its sounds normal..not wooping or barking. Have taken medicenes from doctors, have discussed this with 3 to 4 doctors and they say its seasonal. But i am worried as its irritating for him coughing at night. Medicenes works but aftr few days it start again. Should i talk to pulmonologist?

In my opinion it is seasonal coughing only.
As it is associated with change in season.
He may be having URTI (Upper Respiratory Tract Infection) with seasonal viruses.
Better to give him influenza vaccine yearly to protect him from influenza induced URTI. This virus changes its morphology yearly, so new vaccine is available annually and thus we need to give vaccine every year.
It is very much effective in prevention of influenza URTI. And in children influenza is the most common cause for URTI.
And yes, you can consult pulmonologist. No harm in it.
