Brief Answer:
Medicines will help to control anxiety

Detailed Answer:
Hello, Welcome to Health Care Magic

I can understand your concern. You got yourself checked multiple times and nothing serious was found, this means that your heart is OK. The sudden onset palpitations are probably occurring due to anxiety only. Sudden onset intrusive, unpleasant thoughts are also part of anxiety.

Lexapro is a SSRI drug and in my opinion it's a good drug for your symptoms. In most cases the drug takes about 4-6 weeks to show its effects. Continue to take this drug and your palpitations will reduce. Also in addition to medicines keep yourself busy with Breathing exercises and Progressive Muscle Relaxation Exercises. This will keep your anxiety under control. Just stick to your treatment.

Thanks, Hope this helps you, if you have more doubts you can ask again

Brief Answer:
Lexapro is better option

Detailed Answer:
Hello again
In my opinion it's better to start with Lexapro because the drug is safe and doesn't cause dependence. Yes it's ok to start with 5 mg doses. Take the drug preferably in morning hours as this might disrupt sleep.

Thanks

Brief Answer:
Lexapro is better drug

Detailed Answer:
Hello again and thanks for asking a follow up

Please excuse me for late reply. Valium is Diazepam and the drug is known to cause dependence if used regularly and most individuals develop tolerance to its effects. This results in progressive increase of the doses and this is the reason the drug carry abuse potential. Though the drug result in quick reduction of anxiety but this is not a treatment of anxiety. Better to use this drug on SOS basis in events of severe anxiety. Try to avoid using it regularly.

Lovan and Lexapro both are SSRI drugs and have almost same efficacy. If your doctor has prescribed Lexapro then in my opinion you should go with it. The drug is totally safe. No need to worry.

Thanks. Still have doubts please ask again.
