My Dad met with an accident and few scratches on his shoulder, knee and heel.
Could you please suggest when to use this cream or any other medicine for this?

Brief Answer:
Please continue the treatment.

Detailed Answer:
Hi
thanks for posting your query.
I have reviewed the medicine that he is taking.

What I feel is if there only few scratches and no deep cuts there is no need to apply any topical medications.

He is already taking oral antibiotics which should take care of it.

One more thing avoid applying cream frequently. Just apply it once a day.

Normally the redness and swelling takes about 2-3 days to go.

Just clean once and apply the quantity just to apply a layer on the wound. Do not apply liberaly.

This will prevent the fluid that is coming out.

I hope this helps and clarify your concern.

Wishing him speedy recovery.

Regards

thanks for the reply. That helps.

One more question:
The wound at the right leg heel (near to the heel bone) is bit more, fluid is still coming and swelling on the entire foot. Though no pain on the swelling, he couldn't walk using right foot. Will this cream be fine for such heavy wounds? (other wounds are dried)

Brief Answer:
Apply Dressing

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Good to hear from you again.

In such case apply the cream and cover the wound with light dressing.

To reduce the swelling advise him to keep his limb elevated on pillow while sleeping at night and while seating during the day.

Avoid putting full weight on the injured foot.

Rest and elevation will take care.

Regards,

Dr.Pragnesh
