Question: I have got a rotator cuff partial thickness tear involving the brusal aspect of the supraspinatus tendon close to its foot plate. Brief Answer:
Surgery is not necessity, there is scope for conservative treatment.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

I have read your query and MRI report.

For partial tear in supraspinatus tendon at age of 29 in non athlete there may not be need of surgery. Exercises and physiotherapy with manual therapy will help.
[I consider that you are not associated with professional sports]

You may need to continue physiotherapy for rehabilitation
He may start TENS ,or ultrasound which is helpful in your case.
Medication like methylcobalamine and tendocare will reduce symptoms; you can take them consulting your treating doctor.
You may need to continue daily exercises at home.

Some exercises which can be done after pain has reduced include- gradual neck rotation, touching your ears to shoulder, shoulder shrugging exercises, shoulder rotation, shoulder abduction.
Also check your vit B12 and vit D3 in your blood.
Subacromial bursal steroid injection may help to reduce symptoms.

You may repeat 3 tesla MRI at other centre.
