Brief Answer:
High fibre diet, stool softner, hygiene and plan for surgery

Detailed Answer:
Hello madam.Thanks for your query.

Hemorrhoids are one of the important causes for bleeding per rectum.Bleeding hemorrhoids are categorised as stage III/IV where in its important to get them removed surgically to avoid subsequent consequences of blood loss. Hence kindly get in touch with a surgeon so that he would evaluate, take a medical fitness opinion and plan for surgery.

If constipation is thought to be the cause of your haemorrhoids, you need to keep your stools soft and regular, so that you don't strain when passing stools.

It is essential to increase the amount of fibre in your diet. Good sources of fibre include wholegrain bread, cereal, fruit and vegetables.

Drink plenty of water and avoid caffeine (found in tea, coffee and cola).

Follow the below advice when going to the toilet:

avoid straining to pass stools, as this may make your haemorrhoids worse
after passing a stool, use moist toilet paper or baby wipes to clean your bottom, rather than dry toilet paper.
XXXXXXX the area around your bottom, rather than rubbing it.

Suggest to use a stool softner(lactulose) on the previous night to ease bowel movement and minimise strain next morning.Alternatively you may time the usage as per your habit. It taken 4-6 hrs for stool softner to act after intake of 10-15ml at a time.

Please feel free to revert for further queries you may have.
