default
Posted on Sat, 5 Nov 2016
Question: I have had a very bad case of pneumonia and was given 7 days of Kflex and then came down with a bladder infection and was given 7 days of Macrobid of which I took for 5 days and then broke out in a solid red rash all over my legs from ankle to crotch and now it is on my arms. No bumps just red like sun-burn. What should I do to make it go away or at least slow it down from covering my entire body.

Please provide additional information

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Welcome and thanks for your query.
Is there any itching over the lesions. Allergic skin lesions often itch.
Please upload a picture of the skin lesions.
It may be a purpura which can occur after infections sometimes. Do you have any abdominal pain or joint pain or swelling.
If you have done any blood count after the appearance of the skin lesions, please upload the results also.
