Brief Answer:
Skin reaction to vanicream lotion...

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you for asking!
I read your query and understood your concerns.

Based on the picture of your rush,I think that it's more likely to be a skin allergic reaction to local administration of vanicream lotion.

More over some of the medication you are taking especially ivabrad and dytor increase the risk of skin allergies (skin reaction).

My advice is to stop vanicream lotion. If the problem persist than it may be a side effect of the two mention medications.

Hope this was of help!

Brief Answer:
Following advice

Detailed Answer:
Hi back,

Thank you for following up.

If the reaction is from medications she is taking, I advise to :
- stop ivrabad first. If symptoms will stop, then report this to her doctor and not taking it anymore.

- if the symptoms will persist, then stop the other medication dytor and discuss with her doctor to replace with furosemide. Both of them are diuretics and should not get stopped as she is having heart failure.

- if the symptoms will persist even after stopping the medications, then I advise to get her run allergic tests together with measuring the level of IgE to determine the source of allergy.
Hope it was of help!

It's a compensatory mechanism, discuss with doctor

Hi back,

Your mother hemoglobin levels is high and you should discuss with your doctor about that.

High hemoglobin levels is a compensatory mechanism and is a common findings in patients with severe heart failure. It's not necessary a sign of bad prognosis, because may be of help on these patients.
