Posted on Fri, 18 Sep 2015
Question: Hi, I am a 24 yo female. Mayo clinic diagnosed me with P.O.T.S. in 2008.
I still have profuse sweating, any and all times, clammy skin most times, my feet and hands are blue, especially my feet and are always cool to the touch. I have been to an Endocronologist and a gynocologist for testing, which has come back with nothing wrong in their opinion. Thank you for any information you can provide to lead me in a direction to helping. I am overweight by about 20/30 lbs. Medicines: Nuvaring, Levothyroxine .025mg, simvastatin 40mg, vyvanse 40mg, duloxetine 60mg.

Brief Answer:
POTS can resolve over time.

Detailed Answer:
GOOD DAY
Noted your concern. POTS itself can cause your symptoms due to autonomic disturbance. Most symptoms resolve over time. Relaxation exercises and meditation is of great help. As it takes time to resolve your symptoms, please be patient. Try Yoga as well along with the medications.
