default
Posted on Mon, 1 Aug 2016
Question: I have IBS & Migraine for last 15 years. My current medications are given here. Now, I am fine. Everything is under control.
I have problem of Premature Ejaculation.
Weekly I cannot give time more than once or twice. Furthermore, if it stays only 1 - 1.5 minutes or less, she is becoming pale.

Now, I want to take, tramadol 50mg weekly 2 -3 times before intercourse according to your doctor's advise at last night here in this portal.

My question is, is there any adverse and negative long time side affect for me if I continue?

My sex life is a big part also & I am only 35! Again, considering my medical history I need to know the adverse affect.
For your concern, In XXXXXXX all SSRI like US or other country is not available.

Thank you very much.

Brief Answer:
Try the Non Pharmaceutical Steps : Tramadol is a relatively safer drug

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Welcome to HealthCareMagic.com I am Dr.J XXXXXXX Anto Bruno Mascarenhas, and I am here to help you. I have read your question with care and understand that you have premature ejaculation

Regarding this, before you start with the Drugs, I would advice you to try Non Pharmaceutical Methods like start-stop squeeze technique.

Take Drugs only if the non pharmaceutical methods do not work

Coming to Your Specific Question about any adverse and negative long time side affect , let me quote the WHO Document at http://www.who.int/medicines/areas/quality_safety/6_1_Update.pdf which says

Tramadol is generally considered as a medicinal drug with a low potential for dependence relative to morphine. Nevertheless, tramadol dependence may occur when used for prolonged periods of time (more than several weeks to months). Dependence to tramadol may occur when used within the recommended dose range of tramadol but especially when used at supra-therapeutic doses.

So,
To Sum Up

Try the Non Pharmaceutical Steps which will work for most people
In the rare chance that those do not work, please take Tramadol which is a relatively safer drug

Hope you found the answer helpful.

If you need any clarification / have doubts / have additional questions / have follow up questions, then please do not hesitate in asking again. I will be happy to answer your questions.

Best Wishes for Speedy Recovery

Dear Doctor, Thanks a lot for your prompt reply.

Yeah. I have tried Non Pharmaceutical Steps as you you told and many others like earlier musturbation & few other I discovered in many other reputed health journal.

But, being honest, it worked a little. My wife did not get satisfied. Doctor, I am only 35.

At the same time, I need to maintain a busy business life for my career for which I can't always think of sex. And, this is the contradiction.

So, I need the medication. As, I told you before, in XXXXXXX many drugs like viagra or ssi is not available. But, This one is available by a trusted company.

So, you see my position here.

Sum up, I tried Non Pharmaceutical methods but it didn't work a lot. Now I am searching for medication that's why my query is this.

Considering my IBS & migration will it be harmful in long term?

Thanks again.

Brief Answer:
Tramadol is a relatively safer drug

Detailed Answer:
Dear Sir
Thanks for the update

Because you have tried other methods and they do not work as you like, you can try tramadol. It is an opioid analgesic and can cause side effects like drowsiness and potential for addiction.

As I had already mentioned, it is a relatively safer drugs if used occasionally
So
Go Ahead and Try it
