Suggest Treatment For Painful Sores In The Armpit

Question: my husband is 63, started taking tshots, 1 day uner l axillary,a bunch of pustules appeared big sore painful, could these pustules under L arm be related to taking the testosterone from some men's clinic 150 mg a week,IM. Or could this be a freak dermatitis is thing?? I applied hydrocortisone topical to it & 20 percent Benz cocaine for the pain, What do u think I think a shot of cortisone, an antibiotic?? a RX steroidal cream??just a nurse here so I am not sure ,i didn"t go to skin conditions yet

Dermatitis treatment as following

Hi back my dear,

I am sorry for the late reply due to technical problems we were having with our system.

I just received your photos and noted the inflammation under your husband's armpit.

To me, if it has just appeared, it's dermatitis. Possibly precipitated by tshot but not related to tshot.

Now, it's very important to keep the area well cleaned. Wash with warm water and diluted baby shampoo.

Rinse thoroughly with warm water first, then following by cold water immediately.
At the end,rinse with chamomile tea.
Dry well with a soft cotton cloth.
Then apply Betadine, let dry; followed by a mixture of hydrocortisone with clotrimazole and neomycin for at least 1 week (you may need a prescription from your local doctor for this).

Try to cut short the hair locally to ensure best treatment.
