Suggest Remedy For Ear Infection

I have an ear infection have been given oral antibiotics and drops to use, i am allergic to the mycin oral antibiotics and noticed when i got home the drops prescribed say neomycin and polymyxin with hydrocortison otic suspension, my question is being that i cannot take oral mycins will i have a reaction to this medication?

I had gone through your question and understand your concerns.

If you are hypersensenrice to mycin group, you may or not get with local instillation of same ear drops because local obsorption which is minimal to cause local reaction.
