Suggest Treatment For Pain On Side Of Foot And Prolapsed Disc

Question: Hi, I have extreme pain down the entire outside of my right foot. It can be worse depending upon what shoes I wear. I have prolapsed discs in my back, arthritis in my right knee and Fibromyalgia. Any ideas. My GP didn't even look at the foot and told me to wear trainers. I already buy expensive shoes from Hotter for the support as I used to have Plantar Faciitis. A Podiatrist (in 2010) sugg I needed to use a slant board to stretch my very overtight Achilles and calf muscles as she could only get my foot (Right) to stretch up to about a 10% angle, which she said was reason I trip, fall and wobble quite a lot

foot insole like silicon insole ot medial arch support may help.
MRI spine will help in diagnosis of disc bulge leading to pain.

Physiotherapy like ultrasound and Tens may give you relief.
