1.What do you do as your occupation?
2. Do you lift heavy objects or bike riding?
3.do you have pain in back or leg also?

Hello,
I work in Deloitte as a consultant, so mainly it's a sitting job. I ride a bike. I only have pain in upper back and there is no pain in lower back and legs.
The last time I visited a doctor, he took the e-ray of DV5 and DV6, and he told me that there is no perceptible problem with my back. Although, I did not have a good walking posture, I used to lower my shoulders while walking, and did not walk straight. I am having this upper back-ache problem, since last one year.
I have started sleeping on not so fluffy mattress, with a pillow of very less height. I am currently doing some exercises for the back. I also go to the gym, but try to not lift heavy weights.

Brief Answer:
I would suggest you to get MRI of the spine
Detailed Answer:
Hello Mr XXXX,
thanks for replying, your back pain is mostly postural and it can be cured with physiotherapy and postural exercises. You have to take these steps.
1.there is no harm in getting a MRI. Just to make sure that there is no serious issue like infection .
2.continue physiotherapy. It will need some time but it is permanent solution.
3.avoid any jerky activity or bike or sitting in same position for long time. In between you can do stretching exercises.
4.make sure your posture is correct when you sitting. Avoid AC or cooler flow directly on your back.
5.tablet Etova MR is good for pain relief. Also you can do hot water fomentation and volini gel local application.
I hope these steps will be helpful for you.Let me know if their is any other followup questions.
thanks
