Brief Answer:
Please get an ultrasound scan testis and consult your doctor for medication

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,
Thanks for writing in to us.

I have read through your query in detail.
Testis is an important organ in males.

It can develop pain and swelling due to injury, torsion or infection.
Any pain of testis should not be neglected and a clinical examination is required. It is important to know if you also have any swelling in testis and if yes then how much.

Injury is usually physical injury and this is suspected if you have hurt yourself.

Torsion occurs when the blood vessels supplying the testis gets coiled on itself and this causes sudden loss of blood supply. This can also be due to partial torsion. This is a surgical emergency.

Orchitis can be caused by a bacterial or viral infection. Sometimes a cause of orchitis can't be determined (idiopathic orchitis). Infection can also cause hydrocele.

It is best to get an ultrasound scan of testis done to know the cause of your pain in testis and if you need medications.

Till then you can take oral pain relievers like diclofenac 50 mg tablets after food to control pain. If you have infection which will be known after doing ultrasound scan, then you will be given antibiotics by your doctor.

Hope this answers your question. Please feel free to correct any oversight in my interpretation of your problems and discuss them in detail as per your requirements.

Hope your query is answered.
Do write back if you have any doubts.

Regards,
Dr.Vivek
