Brief Answer:
Needs a Neuro-Surgeon's opinion and investigations

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
To recapitulate: Male/65 - pain from belly button - goes around to right side - came after ruptured disc in lower back and constipation of 5 days - hurt to sit, lay down and when you try to have a bowel movement - width of pain gets wider the further right we go - not visited a Doctor - medications: nothing for this - E lax pills for constipation - failed - so 2 fleet enemas - Tylenol ES 2 pills four times a day - you think both issues are gone - never had hernia but this is what you imagines -

From the history you have provided this looks to be a neurological pain at the spinal level referred to belly button area.
Constipation and the straining at passing the bowel movements enhanced the pain by affecting the compression over the nerves. This is a common occurrence.

I would advise you the following:
MRI of the affected spinal area- thoraco-lumbar to know the exact dimension of the trauma.
An opinion of a Neuro-Surgeon.
Relief of constipation.
Stability to the affected area.
Strict bed rest.
Further management as per the clinical evaluation, examination and investigations reports correlation.

I hope this answers your queries.
